Brain Frog is a small Canadian owned company making wool hats entirely by hand.
Every hat goes through the same process: raw wool, a form, two hands, and enough time to do it right. There’s no production line, no batch processing, no outsourcing. Each piece is made one at a time.
The name Brain Frog came from that feeling of following an idea past the point where any reasonable person would stop. We respect that energy — and we think it shows in the work.
We use 100% natural wool on everything. Felt hats are shaped wet and dried on a wooden block. Knit hats are worked stitch by stitch. Nothing here was made quickly.

Handmade
Every hat is shaped, trimmed, and finished by hand. It takes longer. The result is better.

Brain Frog is based in Canada. Small, independent, and intending to stay that way.
No minimums
We don't produce in bulk. Hats are made when there's demand — hence the waitlist.
